Available in electric heat and heat pumps in capacities ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 BTU. A truly exceptional PTAC value line with reliable performance backed by an outstanding warranty.

Superior materials and design reduce sound levels and improve overall guest satisfaction. Galvanized zinc coated steel wall sleeve and steel base pan undergo an 11-step preparation process, are powder coated with a polyester finish, and are oven-cured at high temperature for exceptional durability. Aluminum endplates reduce corrosion of the outdoor coil.

Refrigerant Changes.

For products sold in California, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has mandated a switch to refrigerant with <750 GWP for room air conditioning products. That means in California, R-410A, with a GWP of 2,088, can no longer be used in products manufactured on or after January 1, 2023. The most common low-GWP alternatives to R-410A are classified by ASHRAE as mildly flammable, or A2L. Friedrich has opted to use R-32.
