FRIEDRICH FRESHAIRE™ PTAC
Friedrich FreshAire PTAC utilizes a full-integrated make-up air system that helps buildings comply with ASHRAE 62.1-2013 standards, bringing in up to 35 CFM of outdoor air and providing MERV 8 filtration – something that in the past only could be achieved with much larger, more complex and expensive systems.
Unlike other PTAC units on the market that ineffectively try to improve air quality with inferior secondary refrigeration systems that also increase energy consumption, Friedrich’s FreshAire PTAC makes it possible for property owners to deliver outstanding indoor air quality, easily and efficiently.
Utilizing Friedrich’s Precision Inverter® compressor with variable speed technology, FreshAire PTAC units are designed to deliver only the amount of cooling or heating needed for the room at any given time, saving energy and money while maintaining even, consistent temperatures. Other benefits include: improved dehumidification as compared to single speed PTACs and quieter operation from the smooth inverter compressor that eliminates the abrupt starts and stops common with standard compressors.
With only two capacity options, Friedrich can deliver the lowest and the highest capacity on the market. A 9000 Btu model operates as low as 6400 Btu and can ramp up to 12000 Btu. The 12000 Btu model operates as low as 8000 Btu and can ramp up as high as 17000 Btu.
